Troopers with the Indiana State Police and officers from multiple agencies are currently in the area of State Road 56 and State Road 3 near Blocher (near Scott/Jefferson County line) searching for Anthony Martinez, age 30.
Martinez, who is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, is wanted out of Louisville, Kentucky after he recently escaped from jail. He was being held in Louisville on numerous charges.
Martinez was possibly seen on foot in the area today. He was possibly wearing a white or gray t-shirt and jeans. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Residents in the area are being urged to lock their doors. Anyone who sees Martinez should NOT approach but contact law enforcement immediately.
