Today was “Scott County Day” for Leadership Southern Indiana’s DISCOVER class. Participants got to hear from community leaders, take a tour of Mid-America Science Park (including visiting with Scottsburg High School Advanced Manufacturing students who engraved tumblers for the class), hear about the history of Scott County, learn about raptors at Hardy Lake State Park, play with baby goats and learn about farm operations at Goat Milk Stuff, and hear from Sheriff Goodin as well as local business owners. It was a full day of giving the class a “taste” of Scott County! Registration is open now for the 2021-2022 DISCOVER class. Visit www.leadershipsi.org. We also have partial scholarships available!
