In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month, our community works together to raise awareness of the adverse impact that child abuse in any form can have on the development and lifespan of our community's children.
We start by signing a Proclamation making April Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month in Scott County Indiana. Then local organizations, schools, and businesses "plant" pinwheel gardens all across our community as a promise that they will work to make Scott County a safe place for kids to grow up happy, healthy, and safe.
Thank you for all that you do to make kids safe, happy, and healthy!!!!! Together our kids can have the childhood and future that they truly deserve!!!!
